On March 24, the County officially closed the Manchaca Community Center and ended its lease agreement with operator Clarence Vogel. The Commissioners’ Court is asking the Manchaca community to draft a proposal on what the community would like to see happen with the Community Center that has served this area for so many years. As a resident of the Manchaca area, you are invited to participate in a positive, results-oriented discussion of the future plans for the Manchaca Community Center. The meeting will also be the forum to nominate and empower a community task force to turn public comments into a recommendation to the County.

Wednesday, March 31
6:30 p.m.
Fellowship Hall (East Parking Lot)
Manchaca United Methodist Church
located at FM 1626 & Manchaca Rd

At this meeting, you will be asked to complete a survey
and participate in a discussion with other community
members to plan the future of the Center
